Let there be progress!

We have cabinets! And countertops! And even a working gas range and dishwasher! Here is the progress to date. Still in the cue: tile backsplash (sink, range, and coffee bar area - which also needs electrical work so that we can move the coffee pot and toaster over), paint, floor patching, patch and paint the window, replace baseboards, and acquire some cool stools for the bar. And we need the glue smell to go away (see fan in window). And the countertop fabricators cut corners, measured some things wrong, and overall need to come back to fix a few things. The bumper-looking things on the end of the bar countertops are exactly that - bumpers. Grayson nearly gave himself a black eye on one of the exposed corners within a few hours of completion of the countertops. Ouch.
